Markus Vanhala/Omnium Gatherum:

Metalfest Open Air Loreley chapter was really a night to remember! Festival area in a beautiful high fields of Loreley in the middle of the ruins of an old castle and the big river flowing down there. Everything was really perfect and ok, except the rain, the mud, signing sessions for a handful of people during the huge torrential rain and even our playing slot to be late in the evening playing exactly same time than Megadeth... So, we the melancholic Finns, were expecting about zero people to show to our gig as even we ourselves would've wanted to be there watching the good ol' Megadeth show. BUT when our intro tape started and we got up on stage we were surprised of a warm (or hot!) welcome with the whole tent full of crazy metalheads waiting us to start bashing the hell out of them. So everything was really ok by now with all the moshpits, crowdsurfing and the sing along. Again a good lesson for melancholic negative Finns - just believe in yourself and you can compete even with MEGADETH! We surely wanna comeback to the fields of Loreley soon!
