Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
How has the songwriting come about for the new album?

Enthroned/Nornagest:
Fine, thank you, everything went very spontaneously and turned out as we wanted.

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
The drumming on the album is highly inspirational, particularly for the last track on the album, how has this come about?

Enthroned/Nornagest:
We always make sure evry instruments reflects the feeling we wanna pass through the lyrics, drums are noe xception as it is the basic for the rhythm therefore the dynamic of the songs.

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
What are the main lyrical themes on the new album? Is the songwriting on the new album conceptual?

Enthroned/Nornagest:
Yes, the concept of the three last records are actually one and the same divided within several chapters, which are each of the albums. Tetra Karcist is dealing with the reality of occultism how it is, no gimmick, no supposition, how things are within the occult. Pentagrammaton retrace experiences, real lived experiences through those doctrines and practices we talked and dealth with on Tetra Karcist. Obsidium in its part of the concept, deals with what we learnt, the achievement we reached in one form or another through those experiences, all written in a way that only people who are actually within the occult circle can understand fully.

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
The reviews for the new album are highly in praise. How does the band view the album in comparison to its discography?

Enthroned/Nornagest:
It is always nice of course to read such comments even if we mainly only refer to our own satisfaction of one recording. I think it is by far our best release, which should be normal to improve in some sort of way. Our goal is mainly to retranscribe within the music.

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
What we want to express through the lyrics, just as the soundtrack of a movie, except that here, things are not fictional and a related to our personal occult experiences.

What impact had the progression of the band on its fanbase and what significance has this for the band?

Enthroned/Nornagest: Just as above, it is grantly appreciated when the fans like what we do, but the first and main satisfaction shall come from the band itself. Obsidium marks indeed a step forward within the band's progression as we are 100% happy of how the album turned out, and this is in my eyes an important factor of progression, compared to albums where you always have something to complain about with little details here and there.

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
On a philosophical and musical level: what are the major influences for the band?

Enthroned/Nornagest:
Ourselves, our experiences and what has happened within our personal life in between this or that period. We are not using the conventional techniques of composition by getting our musical influences from this or that other artist, yes, of course there is an influences that has been rooted since the early days, you undeniably get influenced by the music you are listening to when you grow up, but for the last years, we are keeping ourselves away from all that to be able to give our own touch and own translation to what is important with the composition process.

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
How has the integration of the new members into the band worked out?

Enthroned/Nornagest:
Very well, Noens, our live session axeman, did his first concert with us two weeks ago and it was outstanding! Better than I expected in fact!

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
When can we expect the next live assault of Enthroned in Europe?

Enthroned/Nornagest:
In may we will do a few dates in Roumania, the UK and Belgium!

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
How does the band consider the black metal scene nowadays and what role does Enthroned play in it?

Enthroned/Nornagest:
Believe it or not, I do not care one bit where we fit in this scene. We do our thing and that's it. Our only concern is to do what we do and that's it.

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
If the band would have six words for their fans in Germany, what would they be?

Enthroned/Nornagest:
Kheper i kheper kheperu, kheper-kuy.

Time For Metal / Goat Perversör:
Thank you for the interview!

Enthroned/Nornagest:
Thank you!
